This blog is from 2007 - 2008. When this was going on: I'm trying to drive three Trabants 15,000 miles from Germany to Cambodia with a bunch of international accomplices. We set off from Germany on July 23rd, 2007, and hope to be in Cambodia by December. To see the route of our global odyssey, which we're calling Trabant Trek, go here: http://www.trabanttrek.org/route or www.myspace.com/trabanttrek

Choosing a car is bit difficult , since in the market wide range of cars are available. You need to consult an expert who can compare different branded cars. I prefer Eu Neuwagen to consult and get the right brand.

The race against the time, cannot be chased using cars. Time is precious so buy fastest car and save your time driving the car. I like Eu Neuwagen cars which are very fast and had great attraction with there stylish model.

I picked up the last 5 of the TV series on the Travel Channel on DSTV. I was caotivated, since I would dearly love to drive overland from Zululand to London. I know this is possible since I have seen that Ewan McGreggor and Charley Bornman rode from John O Groats to Cape Town. The only terrifying thing is that last year, I was stung by a swarm of bees, and now am deathly allergic to bee stings. In 2002, I was knocked down by a run away truck, and disabled. As a result I was retired on ill-health grounds, but feel that there is life in them there bones! Your trip has inspired me!
